Radio Baku, Aserbaidschan – 9165 khz

The first radio-broadcast in Baku starts 1926, at a time as the country was part of the U.S.S.R. — In August 1990 was independence declared and the broadcast station was renamed into „Voice of Azerbaijan“. „Voice of Justice“ transmitting from Stepanakert on 9677 khz and partially from 9745 & 9480 khz (tx power = 5 kW).“Voice of Talyshistan“ from the same Location with 10 kW or less, on 11755 khz. All have canceled shortwave broadcasting in the meantime due to the age of the TX. The home service „Radio Azerbaijan“ is still to Listen on mediumwave (1026 khz)
